Fresh pictures from the first training after the ice melted together with Ysbrand Endt and Christa ten Brinke from Pro3 Ocean Challenge. (pro3oc.nl)

The sun was out, the wind was up and with relatively flat water the Mini quickly accelerated up to 15 knots. Dutch traffic control for the IJsselmeer warned that there was a three meter tall iceberg floating around. Thankfully, we did not see it — a collision at that speed would have been disastrous.
